Assalammualaikum and hi to those my first blogger readers.My name is Nur Rabialtul Allawiyah binti Rahimi.I am from Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.I have 3 siblings including me,I am the youngest of my two brothers.l chose to continue my studies to the pre-diploma level because I did not get any offer to the diploma level at the university so I took this opportunity so that I could continue my studies to the diploma level after this.At first I was a bit doubtful about the choice or course I took in this pre-diploma because I had no interest at all about the farm things but when I listened to what my parents said so I opened the door of my heart to accept and learn new things in my life and during my stay here for 4 months I was surprised because I like and can accept what I am learning now and that is why I am here in UiTM JENGKA to finish my pre diploma which will soon end in 3 months. I have 6 subjects including the subject of UED 102 that I need to make an assignment about what is UED 102? therefore I will explain what UED 102 is and the requirements we need to study in UED 102. UED 102 is study skills that students need to know with study skills that they know they can study more efficiently and better.

TOPIC 1 : GET READY TO LEARN

We as university students, we need to have a sense of whether something is good or bad for us. We need to be more responsible to organize or manage our lives at university. We need to have a positive physical and mental to be able to solve a challenge in life we are wise. In university life no one will take care of us except ourselves.There is no family, no mother, no father to watch over us closely but they will pray for us from afar so always remember to be enthusiastic and continue life. We also need to remember the main reason we continue to study here,because of that it has different things between life at school and life at university.





CHARACTERISTIC OF SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS

Successful students are often seen as role models in educational settings due to their ability to excel academically while also developing important life skills. we need to be successful students so that we can guide people to be like us and so that life will be better.

 

They attend class regularly and on time.

- Their assignments are done neatly.

- If they feel they need extra help, they let their teacher know.

- They turn in all assignments.

- They pay attention in class and are courteous and polite.

- They speak up in class.

- They learn to identity what needs to be studied in greatest detail.

TYPES OF LEARNER

In class, not all students learn in the same way. It is important that both parties, such as lecturers and students, know their own way of learning in class so that they can behave in class and respond to different activities and lessons in class.

It is importance to discover your learning style as indicates we were “wired” and this can help use to be more successful in our learning .





LEARNING STYLE INVENTORY TEST

How the test works is you will have to answer the yes-or-no questions and write down the numbers with answers yes. Next, classify the numbers to which is V, A and K. V stands for visual, A stands for auditory and K is kinaesthetic. These are the three main learning styles. Sum up the total value from each class and the number with the highest number will be learning style.


This test has revealed that I am a visual learner, which means that visualization is the most effective way for me to study. To study, I can learn through reading and viewing a video.

Everyone has their own goals that they want to achieve, even if it is difficult or easy to achieve, the important thing is that we have our own goals.

Goal setting is the process of formulating specific goals to be achieved within a certain period of time. Simply put, this is a step to determine the direction of life or the project we want to achieve.

FOCUSWith a clear purpose, we will be more focused on what we want to achieve and not easily distracted by irrelevant things.
